　　好莱坞知名影星“寡姐”斯嘉丽·约翰逊拒绝ChatGPT使用或者模仿其声音，并要求公司对于其产品声线与自己相仿给出解释。

　　Lawyers for Scarlett Johansson are demanding that OpenAI disclose how it developed an AI personal assistant voice that the actress says sounds uncannily similar to her own.

　　当地时间5月20日，斯嘉丽·约翰逊发布声明称，尽管拒绝了向OpenAI提供声音的邀约，但她仍然发现，ChatGPT最新发布的大模型GPT-4o使用了高度类似其声音的Sky语音。

　　The actress said in a statement she was approached by OpenAI nine months ago to voice its AI system but declined for "personal reasons".

　　Johansson was "shocked" and "angered" when she heard the voice option sounded "eerily similar" to hers.

　　Last September, I received an offer from Sam Altman, who wanted to hire me to voice the current ChatGPT 4.0 system. He told me that he felt that by my voicing the system, I could bridge the gap between tech companies and creatives and help consumers to feel comfortable with the seismic shift concerning humans and A.I. He said he felt that my voice would be comforting to people. After much consideration and for personal reasons, I declined the offer.

　　After OpenAI held a live demonstration of the voice last week, many observers compared it to Johansson's voice in the the 2013 Spike Jonze romantic sci-fi film "Her", which centers on a man who falls in love with the female voice of his computer's operating system.

　　This entire process involved extensive coordination with the actors and the casting team, taking place over five months. We are continuing to collaborate with the actors, who have contributed additional work for audio research and new voice capabilities in GPT-4o.

　　在回应置评媒体请求时，奥特曼发言人在一份书面声明中表示，“Sky的声音不是斯嘉丽·约翰逊的，也从来没有打算与她的声音相似，”他说， “在与约翰逊女士进行任何接触之前，我们就选择了Sky的配音演员。出于对约翰逊女士的尊重，我们已暂停在我们的产品中使用Sky的声音。对于我们没有更好地沟通，我们向约翰逊女士表示歉意。”

　　"The voice of Sky is not Scarlett Johansson's, and it was never intended to resemble hers. We cast the voice actor behind Sky’s voice before any outreach to Ms. Johansson," Altman said.

　　"Out of respect for Ms. Johansson, we have paused using Sky’s voice in our products. We are sorry to Ms. Johansson that we didn’t communicate better."
