　　2月16日，刘德华主演的电影《红毯先生》宣布退出春节档，重新选择档期与观众见面。官方称：“感谢已经观看过这部电影的观众，也期待我们能在更恰当的时间，遇到愿意和我们共同完成这部作品的你。”

　　Hong Kong superstar Andy Lau’s film The Movie Emperor has hit a road block in China. The satirical comedy, whose Chinese title translates to Mr Red Carpet, was pulled suddenly from cinemas there, a week after it was released on Feb 10, the first day of Chinese New Year.

　　中国香港巨星刘德华的电影《红毯先生》在中国遇到了障碍。这部讽刺喜剧电影的中文名字翻译为“红毯先生”，在2月10日中国新年的第一天上映，一周后突然下架。

　　The announcement was made by the film’s producer Huanxi Media Group (Shanghai) on social media on Feb 16, but no reason was given for the move.
