　　Zhang Jianna, a 49-year-old from Hebei's rural areas, moved to Beijing after high school, where she worked various jobs before becoming a sanitation worker in 2012. 　　2014年张建娜40岁时正式开始自学英语没有老师辅导她就跟着孩子一起学从孩子的课本上她首先学会了那些常用于指路的单词和词组“先解决燃眉之急，由于工作十分繁重

　　没有固定学习时间她就把一切碎片时间都用上别人休息时她在背单词、练口语回家后她会把当天的知识点都记下来一遍遍复习而用来记录知识点的笔记本不知不觉间已经有十几本之多

　　最让张建娜犯难的是记性不好“年纪大了开始学英语头天背的单词，转天就忘”不服输的她坚持着上学时的技巧晚上背的单词，早上再背一遍不断强化记忆，直到记住为止她还在电脑和手机上下载了十多个英语学习软件有空就学，得空就背

　　经过近十年英语的学习张建娜的英文单词积累已有3000个左右可以用英语和外国人进行流利的交流帮外国友人指路、解决问题

　　谈到学英语最大的收获张建娜认为是自信“我从小在农村长大没上过大学，有时怕别人瞧不起可每次用英语帮助路人后我都感觉自己可了不起了”她说“学多了你自己就自信了帮助人帮助得多了自己的幸福感也就强了”

　　Balancing her demanding job without a fixed study schedule, Zhang maximized every spare moment by devoting her breaks to memorizing words and practicing spoken English. During the evenings, she would jot down everything she learned, filling notebook after notebook with her newfound knowledge.

　　Now, with a vocabulary of around 3,000 words, Zhang now confidently engages with international visitors, solving their queries and guiding them through the city's streets. Her journey, driven by an unwavering commitment to learning and a newfound confidence, has not only helped her connect with others but also bolstered her happiness.
