　　I fell downstairs yesterday.

　　宾语从句：一个句子做宾语。

　　名词或代词做宾语，一般跟在动词或介词后面。

　　表示人的情感、心情：afraid, sure, sorry, glad

　　普通的动词：think, believe, hope, say

　　(前面是一般现在时，后面从句中可以用任何时态)

　　I am sure that I have hurt my back.

　　I'm afraid that you must see a doctor.
