美国宇航员被困太空！美航天局：不能确定返航时间

　　两名美国宇航员6月5日乘坐“星际客机”飞船升空进入国际空间站，原定6月14日返回地球，但因飞船故障，迄今未归。

　　这件事情正在全球范围内引起越来越多的关注。

　　Boeing’s public relations crisis is now out of this world: the company’s Starliner spacecraft – with two astronauts onboard – are currently stuck in space.

　　首次载人试飞的“星际客机”由美国波音公司与美国国家航空航天局商业载人计划项目组共同开发，飞船于6月5日携两名美国宇航员巴里·威尔莫尔和苏尼·威廉姆斯升空，6月6日飞抵国际空间站。飞船原定6月14日脱离国际空间站返回地球，但由于试飞期间出现的推进器故障和氦气泄漏等问题，返航时间一再推迟，目前两名飞行员已经在国际空间站度过了近一个月的时间。

　　After what started as an eight-day mission, US astronauts Sunita “Suni” Williams and Barry “Butch” Wilmore have now spent the better part of a month in the International Space Station as engineers work out the problems with Starliner.

　　当地时间6月28日，美国国家航空航天局表示，在工程师团队完成对推进器技术的一系列地面测试前，美国波音公司“星际客机”飞船返航时间将继续推迟，目前还不能给出确定返航日期。

　　It remains unclear when exactly the astronauts will be able to make their return to Earth.

　　据了解，“星际客机”2019年以来执行过两次无人试飞，这次载人试飞任务期间出现5次推进器故障、5次氦气泄漏、1次推进剂控制阀门运行不良问题。美国国家航空航天局和波音公司不得不进行更多测试以确认问题得到解决。

　　美国国家航空航天局商业载人项目经理史蒂夫·斯蒂克强调，两名美国宇航员目前非常安全。他说，“我们的计划是仍然让他们乘坐‘星际客机’返回”。

　　Steve Stich, Nasa’s commercial crew program manager, said in a press briefing last week: “We are taking our time and following our standard mission management team process. We are letting the data drive our decision making relative to managing the small helium system leaks and thruster performance we observed during rendezvous and docking.”
