　　Lesson50 Taken for a ride

　　新概念2课文内容：

　　I love travelling in the country, but I don't like losing my way. I went on an excursion recently, but my trip took me longer than I expected. ? "I'm going to Woodford Green," I said to the conductor as I got on the bus, "but I don't know where it is.""I'll tell you where to get off," answered the conductor.

　　I sat in the front of the bus to get a good view of the countryside. After some time, the bus stopped. Looking round, I realized with a shock that I was the only passenger left on the bus.

　　"You'll have to get off here," the conductor said. "This is as far as we go." "Is this Woodford Green ?" I asked. "Oh dear," said the conductor suddenly." I forgot to put you off." "It doesn't matter," I said. "I'll get off here." "We are going back now," said the conductor. "Well, in that case, I prefer to stay on the bus," I answered.　　

　　本文语法：对仗句式　

　　一句话总结：对仗句式即两个分句结构平行，前后句形式呼应。

　　典型句式结构：sb. like doing sth., but sb- do not like doing sth.

　　I like eating good food, butI do not like spending money. 我喜欢欢吃好吃的，但我就是不喜欢花钱。

　　Everybody likestravelling, but everybody does not like losing the way

　　我们每个人都很喜欢出去玩,位每个人都不喜欢在野外迷路。

　　新概念2逐句精讲笔记：

　　1. I love travelling in the country, but 1 don't like losing my way.

　　我喜次在乡间旅行，但却不愿意迷路。

　　语言点 这是一个典型的的对仗句式。in the country在乡下；lose one’s way迷路：

　　2. I went on an excursion recentiy. but my trip took me longer than I expected.

　　最近我作了一次短途旅行，但这次旅行所花费的时间比我预计的要长：

　　语言点1 go on an excursion作短途旅行

　　语言点2 后半句中longer than I expected中包含比较状语从句。　　

　　3. I'm gmng to Woodford Green,91 said to the conductor as I got on the bus, but I don’t know where It is.

　　我想去伍德福德草地我一上车就对售票员说但我不知道它在哪儿。”

　　语言点1 be going to常常表示“想要去……”

　　语言点2 本句中as引导时间状语从句，as = when表示“当……时候”。

　　语言点3 get on上车；get off下车

　　4. "I'll tell you where to get off，"answered the conductor.

　　“我来告诉您在哪儿下车，”售票员回答说。　

　　5. I satin the front the bus to get a good view of the countryside.

　　我坐在汽车的前部，以便饱览农村风光。

　　语言点1 注意区别：in front of somewhere在……外部空间的前方；

　　in/at the front of somewhere 在……内部空间的前面；

　　at the back of somewhere在……内部空间的后面

　　语言点2to get a good view of the countryside为动词不定式作目的状语。
