　　所谓“三段式”，就是将一篇书面表达按照三段的写作模式来谋篇布局。下面这篇作文探讨了

　　中学生上培训班以及请家教的利与弊，一起来剖析它的“三段式”作文法。

　　第一段开门见山，概述现象，提出有不同观点：

　　More and more middle school students are going to all kinds of training classes or having tutors at

　　weekends. There are two different opinions about it.

　　第二段详细阐述两种不同的观点：

　　Some think it necessary. First of all, it’s more effective to study with a teacher than by themselves.

　　Secondly, it can strengthen what they have learnt in class(用了一个宾语从句). Besides, they can

　　learn a lot more. Others think it unnecessary. For one thing, students can easily form the habit of

　　dependence. For another, students need time to relax from time to time. What’s more, the purpose

　　of many training classes and tutors is to make money. They may not intend to help students make

　　progress.

　　最后一段表明作者自己的态度：

　　In my opinion, whether a training class or a tutor is needed just depends(depend 这个词用得很地

　　道). Do be sure to choose a good and suitable class or teacher, otherwise(使用转折连词进行虚拟

　　假设，表达更含蓄微妙) it would be a waste of time and money.
