　　A gust of wind swept the bed off the roof and sent itcrashing into the courtyard below. The young mandid not wake up until the bed had struck the ground.Although the bed was smashed to pieces, the man was miraculously unhurt. When he woke up,he was still on the mattress. Glancing at the bits of wood and metal that lay around him,the man sadly picked up the mattress and carried it into his house. After he? had put iton the floor, he promptly went to sleep again.

　　精讲笔记：

　　9、Glancing at the bits of wood and metal that lay around him, the man sadly picked upthe mattress and carried it into his house.

　　年轻人看了一眼周围的碎木片和碎金属片，伤心地捡起了床垫，把它拿进了屋。

　　语言点1 glancing at是现在分词短语作状语。原句还可以改为：

　　After he glanced at the bits of wood and metal that lay around him, the man sadly picked up themattress and carried it into his house.

　　语言点2 that lay around him 是 wood and metal 的定语从句。

　　语言点3 carry sth. into somewhere把某物搬/拖/拉/拽进某地

　　10. After he had put it on the floor, he promptly went to sleep again.

　　他把床塾往地板上一放，很快又睡着了。

　　语言点 本句after引导时间状语从句。
