剑桥KET语法：to do 和doing

　　to do 和 doing 是动词的两种非谓语形式。它们在句中不可以直接用作谓语，但是可以用作其他成分。

　　1、to do

　　动词不定式是由“to+ 动词原形”构成的一种非谓语动词结构，常用来说明做某事的目的或者原因。

　　不定式的常见形式如下表：

　　例句：

　　I ran really fast to catch the bus this morning.

　　今天早上为了赶上公交车，我跑得飞快。

　　(注： to catch the bus 在句中表示目的)

　　2、doing

　　从字面意义来讲，动名词就是既可以充当动词又可以充当名词的“合成词”。动名词的 名词性质决定了它在句中可以用作主语、宾语、表语及补语；而动词的性质决定了它可以被副词修饰。

　　动名词的常见形式如下表：

　　例句：

　　I enjoy playing games with my brother.

　　我喜欢和我哥哥一起玩游戏。

　　(注： playing games 作 enjoy的宾语)

　　3、常见动词后接 to do 或 doing 的情况

　　有些动词后只能接 to do, 有些动词后只能接doing,还有一些动词两者都可以接，但意 义有区别。常见动词或词组后接 to do 还是 doing, 情况如下：

　　例句：

　　The two girls stopped talking when they saw me.

　　那两个女孩一见到我就停止了讲话。

　　The two girls stopped to talk to me when they saw me.

　　这两个女孩一看到我就停下来和我讲话。

　　( 注：stop doing 表示停止做什么,stop to do 表示停下来去做什么)
