剑桥KET语法：一般过去时

　　一般过去时表示过去某一时间所发生的动作或存在的状态。

　　1、一般过去时的结构

　　2、一般过去时的基本用法

　　(1)句子中带有如yesterday( 昨 天 ) 、two days ago(两天前)、last year(去年)、 just now (刚才)、in the old days(过去)等一般过去时的状语时，要用过去时。

　　Did you have a party the other day?

　　前几天你们举办派对了吗?

　　(2)表示过去连续发生的动作时，要用过去时，这种情况下，往往没有表示过去的时间

　　状语，而要通过上下文来理解。

　　When I was a kid,I often played football.

　　我小时候经常踢足球。

　　(3)表示过去一段时间内经常或反复的动作，常与 always、never 等连用。试比较：

　　The old man always carried an umbrella.

　　那位老人过去总是带着一把伞。

　　(注：只是说明他过去的动作，不表明他现在是否常带伞)

　　The old man always carries an umbrella.

　　那位老人总是带着一把伞。

　　(注：表明他现在仍然还习惯带伞)
