剑桥KET语法：系动词+形容词

　　当形容词放在系动词之后时，形容词通常作表语用来说明或补充主语的状态。形容词作表语，常见的句型有以下三种：

　　1、主语 + be + 形容词+介词

　　在该结构中，介词和形容词通常是固定搭配。如：

　　My son is good at playing chess.

　　我儿子擅长下棋。

　　( 注 ：good 在句中作表语，be good at 是固定搭配，意为“擅长……”)

　　I am not afraid of failures.

　　我不害怕失败。

　　( 注 ：afraid 在句中作表语， be afraid of是固定搭配，意为“害怕……”)

　　该结构常用的形容词短语有：

　　be angry with 对……感到生气　　be friendly to对……友好

　　be interested in 对……感兴趣　　be worried about 对……感到担忧

　　be pleased/satisfied with 对……感到满意　　be sorry for 为……感到难过

　　be sure of对……确信　　be surprised at对……感到惊讶

　　be tired of对……感到厌恶

　　2、主语 + be + 形容词+动词不定式

　　该结构通常用来表示原因、目的、结果等，常用于这个结构的形容词有 angry、eager、 fit 、wrong 、disappointed 、pleased 、satisfied 等。如：

　　You are too young to take part in that activity.

　　你太小了，不能参加那项活动。

　　(注：在这句话中，“too+ 形容词+todo”表示“太……而不能……”,其中，young作表语)

　　3、主语 + be +形容词+ that 从句

　　该从句通常是表语从句，用来说明主语的状态，that不能省略，能用于这个句型的形容词有pleased、glad、satisfied、sorry等。如：

　　I am glad that you passed the exam.

　　我很高兴你通过了考试。
