剑桥KET语法：普通名词和专有名词

　　名词是表示人、事物和抽象概念等的词。根据名词的意义，名词可分为普通名词 和专有名词两大类。

　　1、普通名词

　　普通名词是表示一类人或东西，或者是一个抽象概念的名词。

　　boy 男孩 girl 女孩

　　people 人们 police 警察

　　family 家庭 class 班级

　　apple 苹果 book 书

　　pencil 铅笔 air 空气

　　water 水 news 新闻

　　2、专有名词

　　专有名词表示特定的人、事物、地点、场所或机构等，主要有以下五类：

　　(1)表示人名的名词，如：

　　Paul Yong 保罗·杨 Lisa 莉萨

　　(2)表示国名、地名、山河、沙漠的名词，如：

　　China 中国 Europe 欧洲

　　Beijing 北京 the Dead Sea 死海

　　(3)表示特定机构的名词，如：

　　the United Nations 联合国 the World Bank 世界银行

　　(4)表示星期、月份、季节、节日的名词，如：

　　Monday 周一 January 一月

　　winter冬天 Christmas 圣诞节

　　(5)表示报刊、著作的名词，如：

　　National Geographic《国家地理》 English Digest《英语文摘》
